Kawaakibi Foundation will be hosting an event titled 'Unraveling the Web of Disinformation' at the Islamic Centre of Detroit, Dearborn, on Saturday 10th August.
The workshop will teach participants how to critically evaluate online information, identify biases, and unravel the truth from falsehood particularly with regards to the Middle East and North Africa region.
The workshop will be presented by Executive Director Ahmed Gatnash and Head of Communications Razan Saffour, chaired by the Islamic Centre of Detroit's Imam, Imran Salha.
